Question: Chase bank savings rates near Detroit?

I was wondering if anyone knew what the interest rates were for Chase banks near Detroit for certificates of deposit, savings accounts, and Money Market savings. Also, if anybody knows how often the interest is compounded on those three different savings options

Question: My Uncle recently passed away in the city of Baltimore, Md. His lawyer wants to liquidate his assets.?

My Uncle ’s attorney sent my sister ,brother and I a copy of his will that states we are his only beneficiaries. My Uncle didnot own a home but owned furniture, a car, and had a bank account and 2 Certificate of deposits. The will states that the attorney can under his discretion liquidate his assets. The will is to be probated through the Orphan’s court in Baltimore. All three of us live in different parts of the U.S. but can we go to Baltimore and legally take possession of his belongings or must we wait, up to nine months, for the will to be probated?

Answer: check with the administrator. If there are specific personal property bequests in the will he is responsible for filling them. If there are personal items you have all agreed should go to specific individuals, he needs to know; if you havev specific things you want and aren’t agreed on, he needs to resolve before he completes the liquidation of the estate

Question: certificate of deposit, proof of identity?

I was wondering if a certificate of deposit qualifies as a bank statement for proof of identity for getting a drivers permit. It says the certificate is issued to my moms name and then (itf) is my name. help much appreciated =]

Answer: I think what they are look for is some sort of bill or statement that would be mailed to you at your home address on a regular bases. I woud think that they would have a form that one of parents could sign as to you living at home.
